Central Massif “Bikers Paradise” 2011 Tour
Tour Dates: Friday 20th May to Sunday 29th May 2011 inclusive.
A tour of the fabulous Central Massif area of France has been booked for 2011. This area is well known to the Bikers of France, but is often overlooked by other bikers who are madly chasing on to the Alps or the French Pyrenees. This area has an abundance of terrific roads and rides, coupled with outstanding areas of beauty, places of historical and WW2 significance, and is within riding distance to do the Millau Bridge, under and over!!!! There are only 15 places available on this tour to Bikers Paradise, so if you do not want to miss out register NOW.
We will be using the extremely friendly RIDERS REST in La Theil as our base. This exclusive bikers retreat is run by Knights Templar Member Tony Lang (aka Nomad) and his lovely wife Wendy. We will be spending seven nights with Tony and Wendy, and we will do six ride outs from Riders Rest with Tony (Nomad) as leader and Syd (Easyrider) as TEC. The itinerary for the rides and journey down is listed below.
Whilst at Riders Rest, you will enjoy not just a comfy bed , but Tea, Coffee, full English breakfast, freshly cooked three course evening meals, French beer and Wine, bike wash, tools and all the facilities at Riders Rest, plus the benefit of Tony’s vast and detailed knowledge of the area and the rides.
The ride down and back will be done in two parts with an overnight stop out and back, at Evreux. You will be booked in at the B&B Evreux. All accommodation throughout the tour will be on a sharing basis, due to the nature of the room layout at Riders Rest, single occupancy is not an option on this tour….Sorry.
