Hotel Harmonie, situated in Bad Grund, nestles nicely in the heartland of the Harz Mountains. This Bikers Hotel is run by Simon and Elaine and they have over the last ten years built up an enviable reputation for providing great hospitality, having a well stocked bar and providing wholesome breakfast. As if this wasn’t enough, Simon can provide routes of outstanding quality, or for a small fee ( a tank of fuel and a couple of beers) lead you or your party on a ride you will remember for a lifetime.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and evening meals are usually taken in the local Restaurants which are a short walk from the Hotel. On our stay we went to the Restaurant recommended by Simon and the food and prices were excellent.
If touring the Harz Mountains is your goal, then this is the place to stay…..Highly recommended…it is better than very good….
